Affiliate Terms of Service

Updated 9-12-2023. As an authorized Affiliate of Renue by Science, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. Please read the entire Agreement carefully before registering as an Affiliate.

Your participation in the Program is solely to legally promote and receive a commission on products purchased by individuals referred to Renue by Science by your own content.

By signing up for the Renue by Science Affiliate Progra, you indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and its terms and conditions.

1. Approval or Rejection of the Application

We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program Application in our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Application.

2. FTC Endorsement Guidelines

As an Affiliate, you must comply with FTC Endorsement guidelines. You are required to clearly disclose your relationship with Renue By Science when you’re promoting any products.

For website content, you need to disclose that you are using Affiliate links and will receive commissions if people purchase through your link. That needs to be done in a way that is unmistakable and if your post is long, the FTC recommends putting in numerous disclosures so that it is not missed by anyone viewing your content.

By joining as an Affiliate, you agree to abide by the FTC Endorsement guidelines. We reserve the right to terminate your Affiliate contract at any time if these guidelines are not followed.

• Failure to disclose the Affiliate relationship for any promotion that qualifies as an endorsement under existing Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Guidelines and regulations, or any applicable state laws.
  
• Paid advertising to promote products.
  
• Advertising on sites containing or promoting illegal activities.
  
• Inappropriate advertisements (false claims, misleading hyperlinks, etc.).
  
• Spamming (mass email, mass newsgroup posting, etc.).
  
• Violation of intellectual property rights. Renue by Science reserves the right to require license agreements from those who employ trademarks of Renue by Science in order to protect our intellectual property rights.
  
• Fraudulent transactions, or suspected Affiliate fraud.
  

In addition to the foregoing, Renue by Science reserves the right to terminate any Affiliate account at any time, for any violations of this Agreement or for any other reason.

Affiliates may not use misleading text on Affiliate links, buttons or images to imply that anything besides currently authorized deals to the specific Affiliate.

• Affiliates may not generate pop-ups, pop-unders, iframes, frames, or any other seen or unseen actions that set Affiliate cookies unless the user has expressed a clear and explicit interest in activating a specific savings by clicking on a clearly marked link, button or image for that particular coupon or deal. Your link must send the visitor to the merchant site.
  
• User must be able to see coupon/deal/savings information and details before an Affiliate cookie is set (i.e. “click here to see coupons and open a window to merchant site” is NOT allowed).
  

The terms and conditions of this agreement may be modified by us at any time. If any modification to the terms and conditions of this Agreement are unacceptable to you, your only choice is to terminate your Affiliate account. Your continuing participation in the Program will constitute your acceptance of any change.

Affiliate shall indemnify and hold harmless Renue by Science and its Affiliate and subsidiary companies, officers, directors, employees, licensees, successors and assigns, including those licensed or authorized by Renue by Science to transmit and distribute materials, from any and all liabilities, damages, fines, judgments, claims, costs, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees and costs) arising out of or related to any and all claims sustained in connection with this Agreement due to the negligence, misrepresentation, failure to disclose, or intentional misconduct of Affiliate.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us. At Renue by Science we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

• We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. 
  
• We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  
• We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.
  

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Renue by Science collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Renue by Science’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Renue  by Science’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Renue by Science may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Renue  by Science also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. Renue by Science only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Renue by Science’s websites choose to interact with Renue by Science in ways that require Renue by Science to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Renue by Science gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who comment on our blog to provide a username and email address. Those who wish to receive Renue by Science updates via email, we collect their emails. For example, when you sign up for an account, we ask for personal information, like your name, email address, telephone number or credit card to store with your account. When visitors comment on our blog, we ask them to provide a username and email address. For those who wish to receive Renue by Science updates via email, we collect their emails.

In each case, Renue by Science collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Renue by Science. Renue by Science does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Aggregated Statistics

Renue by Science may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, Renue by Science may monitor the most popular pages on the Renuebyscience.com site or use spam screened by the Akismet service to help identify spam. Renue by Science may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Renue by Science does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Information We Share

Renue by Science discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Renue by Science’s behalf or to provide services available at Renue by Science’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Renue by Science’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

Renue by Science will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone.

Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Renue by Science discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Renue by Science believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Renue by Science, third parties or the public at large.

If you are a registered user of a Renue by Science website and have supplied your email address, Renue by Science may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Renue by Science and our products. 

Renue by Science takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information, as discussed below.

Information Security

We work hard to protect our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold, in particular:

• We encrypt many of our services using SSL.
  
• We review our information collection, storage, and processing procedures, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.
  
• We restrict access to personal information to Renue  by Science employees, contractors, and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.
  

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Renue by Science uses cookies to help Renue by Science identify and track visitors, their usage of Renue by Science website, and their website access preferences. Renue by Science visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Renue  by Science’s websites, with the drawback that certain features of Renue by Science’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Business Transfers

If Renue by Science, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Renue by Science goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Renue by Science may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Ads

Ads appearing on any of our websites may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Renue by Science and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Comments

Comments and other content submitted to Akismet anti-spam service are saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives.

Google Analytics

Renue by Science uses Google Analytics in its application. Campaign analytics are tracked through Google Analytics for our clients. Renue by Science utilizes the Google Analytics Reporting API to gather analytics about your campaigns and present them in an actionable way via charts and conversion statistics. Renue by Science discloses client Google Analytics information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Renue by Science’s behalf or to provide the services available at Renue by Science’s websites.

When this Privacy Policy Applies

Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by Renue by Science and its Affiliates, including services Renue by Science provides on mobile devices, and services offered on other sites, but excludes services that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including other sites linked to our services. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our services, and who may use cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.

Compliance and Cooperation with Regulatory Authorities

We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy. We also adhere to several self-regulatory frameworks. When we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve with our users directly.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Renue by Science may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at Renue by Science’s sole discretion. Renue by Science encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
